Do you want to experience the fun and excitement of OU Sooner Flight Academy during the school year? Look for day camps on teacher in-service days and before certain holidays. You are invited to join us to learn and play. These camps include exciting hands-on science activities exploring the wonderful world of aviation.
With membership in the Sooner Kids Science Club, the fun and excitement that your child enjoys during the summer camp program continue throughout the school year. Every month, the OU Sooner Flight Academy hosts an evening activity for K-5th grade students and their parents. This year we have added a club for 6th - 12th grade students. An aviation and science filled night gives you a chance to spend some quality time with your child and learn something new.
These interactive aviation/aerospace science programs are brought to the school site or students come to the Sooner Flight Academy campus located in Norman, Oklahoma at the OU Max Westheimer Airport.
The OU Sooner Flight Academy summer flight camps challenge students ages 6-18 to learn the principles of flight using science and mathematics. Campers engage in hands-on activities which demonstrate the science, technology, engineering and math of the exciting world of flight. Scholarships are available.
